To obtain a security guard license and work as a security guard, you must complete basic security training and pass the ABST exam before applying for a BST license. We provide BST training online classes.

Alberta Basic Security Training: We are partnered with Alberta Security Hub to provide our students with ABST. Alberta Ministry accredited (#AT000589) online security guard course. This course will prepare you for your provincial exam and get you job-ready as a security professional in Alberta. The course goes beyond just reading pages and information and contains real-world scenarios and examples.

To qualify as a security guard, you must

·         Complete Basic Security Training through an approved school.

·         19 years old or older

·         Clean criminal record.
